Kitchen Tip of the Day: Easy-peeling bacon strips
Here’s a great tip from I recently read from “How To Break An Egg”:
I like to use bacon as flavoring, but I rarely use the entire package. I’ve found a way to ensure that the uncooked bacon doesn’t spoil by stashing it in the freezer. I sandwich slices between accordioned layers of aluminum foil, then fold the ends over to seal the entire package. This keeps it easy to peel off the one or two slices I need, and it keeps the frozen bacon from becoming an unmanageable lump.
